YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAMME
PRELIMINARY APPLICATION FORM
Please note: Although it is most unlikely that you will experience
any problems responding to this form, certain

If you are in Year 12 of High School, under 18 years of age
next August, and it is not yet the 15th of October the you
are eligible for the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme
next year (departure is usually in July/August).
This is a 12 months school based programme and involves
commitment from both the student and the parents for that
period.
If you are a student anywhere in the world and would like to visit
Thailand for one year under the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme you may also use this form: We will contact your Rotary District

yourself and your parents before submitting this application.
This application will start the process which involves at
least 2 separate interviews
before final selection and country allocation, and an orientation about 2 months prior to departure.
On completing this form you will be contacted by the
nearest Rotary Club to your home and asked to complete
a more formal application. This form must be completed
and be with the Rotary Club by the 30th of October.
District 3350 is only able to send between 25 and 35 students
each year depending upon the Sponsor Rotary Club being
able to find sufficient Host Parents for the student who must
be hosted in return.
If you feel you are unable to be an Exchange Student but
you and your family would be willing to Host an Exchange
Student from another country for 2 - 3 months please contact
your Rotary Club or send a message to our chairman.
